Gardening stuff

Well the garden we planted is doing well. We have harvested some banana peppers, jalapeno peppers, broccoli, okra, squash, onions, cucumbers, and tomatoes. Peas are growing but it will be a while before we can harvest any. So far this has been the best garden we have ever had. Fertilized the hay field but of course no rain since I did that. Oh well ....Such is life.

Glad to hear your garden is doing well - I wasn't here in time to get seedlings started indoors, so no garden for me this year. It was kind of disappointing, but I didn't even think about having a shorter growing season here than in Texas or Italy.

I'm jealous of your garden! I think we (by that I mean Trey, as he's the one with the green thumb) missed planting tomatoes around here - you have to start the seeds inside the house pretty early in the year. I think we missed tomatoes at Trey's grandfather's by only a few days!

Nice garden, sounds like you got it all. Might need to add some fruit, but I don't know how well it would grow. Didn't know you had a blog, will have to add a link from mine.
